Every year the NAMM show is THE event of the music industry where new developments and innovations are presented. As always, the show took place at the city of Anaheim in sunny California and again it attracted many visitors from all over the world in addition to local music stars. As usual, beyerdynamic was represented by their distributor AM&S presenting existing, as well as, brand-new products to the public. The new DT 770 PRO 32 Ohm version had among other products its premiere at the official press conference.
The beyerdynamic microphones were not only presented at the booth, the visitors could also see them in action when SHEL, the alternative folk and pop band, played their extraordinary music for entertainment, which was quite enjoyable. beyerdynamic supported the four sisters with microphones for both their numerous instruments and vocals. Four beyerdynamic TG V70d microphones ensured a powerful sound. Even Chester Thompson, drummer and long-time endorser, paid beyerdynamic a visit.
There were, however, still more surprises: In addition to a nomination for the NAMM TEC Award for the Custom One Pro headphone, beyerdynamic also belonged to the proud winners of the “Sound on Sound Award”, which was awarded for the DT 880 PRO headphone of the Headphones Category.
